Skiing and snowboarding in the Levi ski center

The Levi ski center has several slope options for different skill levels, and there are up to 10 children’s slopes. If you are not yet familiar with skiing or snowboarding, you can go to a ski school with the whole family. You can book a private or group lesson.

The ski center also has a area called Leevilandia, which is located next to the South Point of the Southern slopes. In addition to the weekly program and snow games, Leevilandia has two carpet lifts and one snow lift for learning skiing and snowboarding. There is also a possibility to take a break in a hut with open fire. Leevilandia has an admission fee for users. Find more information here.

If the adults in the family want to go skiing together, for example, the youngest members of the family can be left at Muksutupa South Point in Etelärinne. Children can do crafts and play in a safe environment.

Snow mobiling in the nature of Lapland

Rent snowmobiles for the whole family and spend a fun day riding in the wonderful landscapes of Levi. For example, you can book a family snowmobile package where you can go sledding together on your own.

Snowshoeing – an easy way to explore nature around Levi

Try snowshoeing, which is a fun and easy way to get to know Lapland’s nature. On Levi’s winter walking routes, you can enjoy nature in the middle of the forest as a family. Winter walking routes are suitable for people of normal fitness, and there are shorter routes for those who go snowshoeing with children in the vicinity of the Levi ski center Zero Point.

Husky and reindeer safaris – a children’s dream

There are various husky or reindeer safaris available in Lapland, where you can get to know Lapland’s animals at the same time. Children usually love huskies and reindeer and have unforgettable experiences with them.

You can go on a husky safari in the winter on a sled and in snow-free times on an all-terrain vehicle. Often same time with husky safaris you can also pet the dogs and get to know them.

In Levi Activity Park, you can have fun with the family all day long. There is, among other things, an adventure park where you can test your courage on various ziplines and obstacles. The adventure park is suitable for both children and adults. There you can find, for example, 63 different tasks and a Base jump that reaches a height of 12 meters.

In the Activity Park area, there is also an 8-lane mini golf course and a Bike Park, where you can have fun on mountain bikes. If there are children under 12 in the family, the traffic park and play park is worth a visit. Children under the age of 12 can ride scooters for free.

The area’s Pumptrack & Skatepark, on the other hand, offers training places for cyclists and children and young people who use skateboards and kickboards. North Trampoline Park has different trampolines for those who enjoy jumping.

The spa – a destination for the whole family

Levi has a large spa, Water World Levi, where you can spend time with the whole family. The spa has, among other things, two children’s pools, water slides, outdoor pools, jacuzzis and various saunas.

In the connection to the spa, you can also find the Ailu Family Fun children’s world, which is a space of almost 300 square meters full of things to do for the little ones in the family. The children’s world includes, among other things, a climbing frame, a console game area and various toys.

In Levi, outdoor activities are wonderful in every season, but especially in autumn, when you can enjoy the wonderful colors of autumn. Go hiking with the family and admire the beautiful autumn colors.

It is worth visiting at least the Korkeaniemi laavu, which is located at a great vantage point from Kätkätunturi along the outdoor trails by the lake Immeljärvi. It’s about a kilometer from Levi’s tourism center. Laavu can also be reached by car along Immeltie. You can leave your car on the shore of the lake at the foot of Kätkätunturi side. It is about 500 meters from there to Korkeaniemi. Korkeaniemi Laavu has an outdoor toilet and a wood shed where you can get firewood.
